Complex of Yen Phong IZ	Peerspective of Yen Phong Urban Area	Yen Phong Industrial Zone

- Bac Ninh with 800km2 area, population is about 1 million people, located in the Northern Gate of Hanoi capital, which is the well-off land and rich of ancient culture. The city belongs to the economic development triangle of provinces in the North of Vietnam and is appreciated as one province that anticipates the high rate of economic development in the North of Vietnam, especially in industry sector.
- Yen Phong Industrial Zone, located in Yen Phong commune, Bac Ninh province, is a part of the complex of industrial zone – urban areas of grade V of urban scale of 45.000 residents. This is a industrial zone that concentrates multi-sectors, admits non-polluted projects including: pharmaceutical, veterinary drug, food for livestock, light industry, household production, industry of material for construction and mechanics.
- Yen Phong IZ is developed with the focus on modern and synchronized industrial infrastructure to ensure to balance between industrial development and environment protection, pushing up investment promotion, industrial production and social – economic condition of Bac Ninh province, in the line with industrialization and modernization guideline of the Government and Vietnamese communist party. The development of the complex of Yen Phong industrial zone – urban areas will create the pre-condition for the development of the new urban areas, contribute to the hastening of Bac Ninh urbanization process.
- The Entrepreneurs who invest to build factory in Yen Phong Industrial Zone shall be enjoyed the preferential policies relating to investment promotion of the State as well as Bac Ninh province – the province that considered as the clearest and openness in investment environment in the North of Vietnam.

Developer
Vietnam Glasses and Ceramics for Construction Corporation (Viglacera) is appointed to be the developer of Yen Phong industrial zone by the decision No. 303/TTg-CN dated 20 February 2006 of the Prime Minister.

Planning of Land Use Mechanism
Yen Phong Industrial Zone has 761.33 ha total areas, divided into 02 phases:
- Phase No.1 is 351,33ha area.
- Phase No.2 is 410ha area, going to be expanded in 2008.
